Question about Samsung PCN5425R 54" Rear Projection Television

"Perfect Focus" Mode!! Such a thing as too much CATV Signal? Did Comcast Screw Me?

My system has all the stupid wiggly lines going through it in analog mode on the lower channels. Well, on all the channels, just not as noticeable in HD. Anyway, when I try to use the Perfect Focus mode It will go through the red, it goes through the green & then when it gets to the blue all I get is flash of blue and then the whole process begins again it has gotten as far as about 1/2 complete but I know without the blue and white focus lines something is wrong. Now, I did just find out today that Comcast has had an electric Signal Amplifier Right behind (practically against the back of my seT)for the past couple of years. their own tech that was out on a previous visit had told me that I had "TOO???" much signal going to my set, however he did not uninstall, nor did he ever check whether there was anything such as this back there. I told Comcast on the phone last night that I think they have fried ny TV with too much signal and they sent out this time a real Comcast employee who at first said that he hoped it wasn't back there & even said he prayed that there wasn't one back ther. But, wouldn't you figure as soon as he found out that there indeed was one there of course that couldn't be the problem, it has to be my tv that I never ever had a problem with before. I am not a Technician or even pretend to know anything about these type of issues, but if someone could please advise me I would be forever grateful. It sounds like you have two problems 1st your sensors and second over modulation ,try moving the set to the opposit side of the room to ckeck if the radiate signal strenght is affectiog you,if not you must perform a service mode alignment of the convergence and auto focus to align the sensors.
