If you are using Windows XP, click on start>program>accessories>system tools>system information. The motherboard model number is on the list.
Good luck, let me know if you have any questions.

I have ASUS F5RL notebook. Notebook don't start.

Check your power adapter and your battery. Turn on your laptop using your battery power not connected the power adapter or remove your battery and directly using the power adapter. If it's still the same not turning on you must go to your nearest service center to check the trouble of your laptop.

If you mean turning on, but not loading to your windows application that means your system file has been corrupted. Due to improper shutdown or hanging due to cpu overheating or system crash due to viruses. In this case you have to reformat your hard drive but before that you must back up or save your important files or data that saved on your computer. Because formatting your hard drive will erase the entire data or files on that partition. Have a nice day.

Hi,my notebook is not turning on .Charging is good .When i press switch button charging process is stopping to 1-2 seconds then continues .Maybe problems in motherboard?Product Details for ASUS F5RL-X1...

1. Take the battery out of the laptop & try to turn on the laptop using power adapter only. If the computer turns on, then the battery is defective & needs to be replaced.
2. Make sure the power adapter is not defective. Test the output voltage of the power adapter using a voltmeter. Compare the voltmeter reading to the nominal value written on the adapter or the laptop.
3. Make sure the DC jack is not loose or broken. A loose DC jack will need to be re-soldered. A broken one will need to be replaced.
4. If you have another processor which is compatible with your laptop's model, try swapping processors & test to see if the laptop will work.
5. The power button could be bad.

6. The motherboard could be defective & needs to be replaced.

My Asus x58L laptop keeps crashing whenever i try to do anything on it, it comes up with a blue screen saying that it has found a problem, but i can't find what the problem could be.Please help me bacause...

You might have a problem with your Memory RAM or your Hard Drive try downloading an .iso file Named Geek Squad M.R.I via torrentz from another computer that then burn the .iso and boot from that disc. Then choose option 1 and on the next screen choose again option 1. Wait for the test to be run and that tool will tell you what is wrong with your laptop.

Drivers xp for asus

If that ASUS had Windows Vista HOME BASIC on it then you wont easily (almost impossible) find XP drivers for it. Otherwise if it was Vista HOME Premium or higher you SHOULD be able to get XP drivers for it from the ASUS.COM website
