restart lap top it sould come back up with the drivers to lap top from windows.

Windows 2000 and XP and Vista and 7 all have built-in device-drivers for CD/DVD optical drives.

Search online for the free 'VLC' software, for reading DVD-disks, and playing DVD-movies on your computer.

Try the cd,if it installs XP,you can get the drivers from:

Please select the Drop-down menus under the 'Select Product' category as shown in the image below. 1. notebooks, 2. Amilo pro, 3. Amilo pro V2xxx, 4. Amilo pro V2000.
Once, you select these you then be taken to the download page to download the drivers available for you system. Please change the operating system if you don't have windows xp. You will get the option to change the operating system after you select the above options. Regards Anand Sachan

Did you reinstall all drivers from the recovery CD? Windows should have detected the wireless card and installed the software for it and notify you automatically of nearby networks without any further software being installed.

use you recovery disk or utility disk and install your wireless lan device/hardware

Restoring operating system
Using the ”Windows Recovery CD" and the ”Drivers & Utilities CD", you can restore the operating
system of your notebook.
All hard disk contents are deleted during operating system restoration. After this, operating system,
drivers and software utilities will be reinstalled. For this reason you should try to save important data
to a backup medium before you restore the hard disk contents.
