Time for a replacement, CRT monitors are not in the realm of repair, just replacing. You could get a good deal on a used one as these monitors are becoming obselete!

it sound to me like the modual has fried it self in the distributor if it has you will have no spark or fuel pulse . have you checked the ignition fuses

I am not sure on this one but I think the left front headlight has to be removed. Also I think these are riveted on and you will have to drill the rivets and gently use a chisel to get them off.

No, don't bother trying, it's glued. If it's really filthy the tube brush should go all the way through.
Personally I use a weak solution of Milton (the stuff for cleaning babies bottles) with fairly warm water and let it sit for a couple of hours, turning it over every now and then.
If you have mould/mildew in the tube you probably won't ever get it clean. The only solution to that is to rinse and drip dry the bladder regularly and never store it for more than a day or two with moisture trapped in it.

hi there, from my experience this sounds like a simple starter motor failure, remove the starter and test in on a bench before replacing,
