Question about Dell Inspiron 6400 Notebook
Go to dell.com. follow technical support updates. It will ask u what type model etc. Just follow the pop-ups. There was a suggest update for my Vostro laptop a recommended BIOS update. With Vista u have to save to the desk top and then right click it and run as an adminsistrator

You need to change the battery. It sees to be defective if it gives that message. Is your laptop under warranty? If yes, then take it to the place you have bought it and have the battery replaced.
