Go to "Picture Boost" option in the "OSD window". Then turn on the "Bright Frame" option and after that make the "Frame Size" to 100. That's it now you can get a perfect sharp image...it worked for me.

Had the same problem! Solve it: go to the AMD catalist and choose advanced look. then inside the digital display setting you'll see scalling option that will show 10% . Set it to 0%. Done!overscan.png

You need a HDMI to DI cable not HDMI to d-sub cable. The sellers that are selling that cable do not tell you that it will only work with special video cards that output analog to the HDMI connector. HDMI is digital and so is DVI so they will adapt to each other. Keep in mind that this is for video only, sound will not work on the monitor because the DVI port does not support sound. You will need to add a set of speakers to the Xbox

I have an AOC L19WH LCD monitor. I am trying to get sound out of the monitors speakers but am having problems.

I can't find the model number you posted from the AOC website, so its hard to help you.

The only way you can get sound from a monitor is if you plug in the HDMI cable, this means that you need a graphics card with HDMI, very few computers have onboard HDMI.

Monitors that have speakers use HDMI and they need to be plugged into a HDMI port.

If you are using the DVI port, you will NOT get any sound.

You need to post the correct model number or a link to your manual, you also need to post what computer and what graphics card you have.

If you post this info, then someone can help.

The posts above are funny, a PSU has nothing to do with sound.

1920x1080 resolution is the starting point for HD video. If you have set your desktop resolution to that or anything avove then you should be running at HD resolutions. Maybe the image/video you are watching is not at a HD resolution, therefore it will appear distorted and streched (poor quality). To fully experience HD playback use video files and imaged that are at the 1920x1080 resolution and above.

this is teh driver you need (windows 7 ) If you need it for windows xp ..you have to select the os first .
Also if you need it for a 64 system select it ..and install it after download.
Use the hdmi for to have a hd image ..and select the correct port in the monitor ..
restart after finish the driver installation .and make the settings
after..Also check the board in device manager to be proper installed (right click on computer icon ..select properties than device manager (for xp select first hardware ) ..and in helist look under display ..and the driver should be present by name and not with yellow color and exclamation or ask sign ..
Also it may need some settings in the video card ..so open the settings for video card in control panel and look up for what should be set ..specially related with the secondary monitor and the hd mode..

I have sapphire ati radeon 5570 graphics card. i have aoc 912sw+ 19 inch lcd monitor. how to connect hdmi port of graphics card with monitor?

the HDMI port is for connecting video and sound to a home theatre / surround sound system. I understand that this monitor only has a VGA connector.

The sapphire ati radeon 5570 graphics card has the following ports on the back to connect to a display: DVI (white), VGA (blue) and DisplayPort (the thin slot in the middle). You can use an ordinary VGA cable to connect the card to your monitor.

Unfortunately you cannot connect this card directly to your monitor using the DisplayPort.

Hope this helps

I beleive you have to enable audio in the HDMI SETUP so it will send the digital audio through HDMI ports, check the cable box and the TV HDMI sound setup.

Need a new 26in tv scren as old one is cracked and how much will it cost me to fix it

LCD panels are very expensive when bought as a part.. often much more then the original TV.. especially when its a few years old. You can have them repaired using a TV Repair guy but often it costs as much as a brand new LCD. My daughter broke my $1,600 LCD. It would have cost $1,200 to fix.. so I just bought a new one. After that I picked up a TV screen protector called TV Armor http://www.tv-armor.com Its designed to protect the TV from damage. Now I dont have to worry anymore when she is playing near it. It works really well.

Sharp Aquos LC-37P50E connected to computer with HDMI cable

Hi,

I got the chat , but some how it got disconnected.
But i would like to help you in this aspect.
HDMI stands for High Definition Multimedia Interface, and supports transmission of both audio and video in high fidelity.

First make sure these things,

Both your computer and your TV will need to support HDMI interface.
It's quite a recent thing in PC graphics cards, so you may have to resort to S-Video, DVI or VGA for the video, plus a 3.5mm stereo cable (or the optical TOSLINK equivalent) for the sound.

Let know your comments and i will follow up with the suggestions.
Thanx for using fixya,
Good luck.
