There is a covered slot on the left side. A certain pressure point opens the flap where this memory stick can be fitted in that slot...sodeep

into a adapter that is not built into the pc? or the one on the pc? if it is on on the pc does it say it supports MS DUO or just marked SD MMC?

If its external test it on another PC, if it works switch the usb you are using, on your PC

You shouldn't need the adapter with the computers. Try taking the duo out and plug it into the computer.

HP Pavilion dv6000 driver not reading Sony Memory Stick Pro Duo

hey i have the same problem with the hp pavillion 6000. It is one of the most unreliable computers in the world but i guess thats another discussion... I have a 2g memory card that will only be recognized if i restart the computer and put it in then... Once you eject it though it wont recognize it. HP needs to get their **** together and stop ripping people off.

Memorystick duo

Normally plug and play those cards,
do you have software for the card reader device?
I plugged mine into my camera it auto recognised straight away
as for your device card reader ,try to reinstall again

if the card works in your camera
Another idea is to put card into your camera and use a usb lead for the photo movements to the pc
same applies if its a cellphone

Hope this helps

Some tape can help that! I had the same problem with a Memory Stick PRO Duo. You can see photos of the fix here:
