Question about Cisco 857W (882658019555) Router
Connect to the router. in the config there will be a line that reads something like chap username xxxx pass yyyy
Change the user name and pasword to the new ones supplied by BT.
Also change the ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 statement to point to the interface for example dialer 0
also change the Ip address of dialer 0 to negotiated

Go to a command prompt on your computer and type in ipconfig - then look for the ip address of your "Default Gateway". Make a not of this ip address.. Then open your internet browser and type in http://XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX replacing the Xs with your default gateway... you will then get to the admin screen for the router where you can do whatever you need to do.
