I wet my g1

My g1 was in my bag and so was a soda can. I didnt know the soda can had exploded so the soda kept on leaking and soaked everything. Now my g1 buttons are sticky (except keyboard) and when i turn the phone on, nothing comes up but a warning sign.

I hated that happened to you but I hope that you have insurance on it. Anyway for the stickiness very lightly damp a  Q-tip or the tip of a towel and rub against the buttons that are sticky. Use water and a very small drop of rubbing alcohol. Now for the warning signal maybe just leave the phone alone for several hours or days and then test it later or open the phone take the battery out and see if it looks like the soda had gotten down in the phone . If it doesn't it might have a good chance of coming back on but if it does place the phone in a draining position so that the remainder of the soda can drain on a cloth or something. Please do not use a blow dryer if it is still wet because it might make it worse that what it is. But even though i don't recommend it if you want to try it hold the blow dryer back a few inches and move the phone in different positions as you do it. If all these fail (I'm not an expert) call customer service.

You can try to open and clean it yourself, there is a T-Mobile G1 Repair Guide. Once you have it open try to brush the residue of the liquid damage off the affected parts. If that doesn't help replace those parts , they are ususally available on Ebay. If all else fails there are third party T-Mobile G1 Repair Services but that can be quite pricey.

My blackberry keys and trackball wont work

Try taking the battery out and putting in a bag of uncooked rice for a day or two. You probably got some moisture in it when it was in the bag with the soda. The dry rice will absorb the moisture.

Went into hot tub with g1 for like 2 secs then went out. now it turns on until it says g1 but it stays there then faids away

you could 'dry out' older phones when they got wet years ago, but these new smartphones have so many components that when wet, they usually ruined. If you have phone insurance use it, otherwise happy shopping. Best of luck

Wet G1 Tmobile htc fell in water a while ago

Don't turn it on until it's dry again.
Maybe it could work again.
If not, you'll need to take to a cell phone fix place.

Voicemail on G1

You don't "Pay" to listen to voicemail unless you have a prepaid account. It does however come out of your minutes. Anytime you are using your phone you are using minutes. Now, as far as someone leaving a voice mail on your number, it does use minutes as well, but each rate plan comes with 500 minutes for voicemail (you can see this on your bill).

Saving jpeg from email to g1 phone

you have to open the e-mail message, then open the picture by double clicking on it. then options----> save as, then it will let you choose to save to memory card, do that, and you should find it using your file explorer in my documents ---> my pictures folder on the memory card. if you didnt find it, try my documents ----> my pictures on the phone memory. let me know how it works out ?
