I cant find a way to use a live webpage desktop

I cant find a way to use a live webpage as my desktop background in vista ultimate. Any solutions???

The earlier "active desktop" function in Windows XP that allowed a live webpage as a desktop is no longer present in Vista. It was replaced by the SideBar. You probably need to look for a sidebar gadget that offers this functionality.

Moving background (Dream scene) is available only on Vista Ultimate. You'll need to download the dream scene from windows update site.

My vista do not show option of save as desktop background in photoviewer so to change desktop back groud i had to go on personalise option every time


Do to your desktop, right click 'Personalize'.
Then choose 'Deskptop Baground",
click Browse button next to the location, choose the picture you want to use as baground,
then click 'Open', now double click on the new picture in the windows and click OK.

Windows vista live audio/video streaming problem.


vista doesn't come with 16 bit, it is 32 or 64 bit. use media center utility for watch live streaming. media player 11 is also capable for playing the live video. realplayer is the best tool for playing live videos

How to change background


Right click your deskop and select "Personalize"

The second link down on the list is "Desktop Background". Select it.

From there you should see a variety of desktop backgrounds to choose from. If you have a particular photo that you want to use as your background, then select, "Browse" and find the photo you wanted.

Desktop Background problem in Vista Ultimate

Desktop Background problem in Visat Ultimate


Yeah, I ahd this problem too, only on Windows XP Media center edition, What fixed the problem for me, was doing a system restore back to the day before I had this problem, and it never happened again.

what about it? if you want to set a picture as your background, open it with windows photo gallery, then right-click and set as background.

Lost desktop pictures


You should be able to go back to the changed desktop picture (wallpaper).
Under Control Panel- personalization-desktop background, you will see a drop down box. upon pushing the picture location downarrow you will see where the pictures are.
