Hello here is a link to download the drivers for your motherboard
http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Product_Filter.aspx?ProductID=2839

I searched Google using the error code you provided and found this problem to be very common. The most common solution was this: [quote] open device manager click "system devices" disable "microsoft UAA bus driver for high definition audio" uninstall "UAA bus driver" make rescan devices (Note: Not all had this step. You may want to skip it.) install realtek driver the realtek driver includes the UAA driver too. Good luck

It's an audio error. Download the audio drivers, AND install them.

Need guidance?

Is the motherboard in an operational computer, that is connected to the internet?

Try the automated driver detection, and update the drivers.

http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/highlights/dsktpboards/dg31pr

See where it states - Intel Desktop Board DG31PR, and Latest Downloads underneath it?

Left-click on the blue -
Automatically detect and update drivers and software

Motherboard is not in an operational computer that is connected to the internet. Then you will have to download the Realtek audio drivers, burn them to a disk, and install them on that motherboard.

(Operating in a computer)

I have an Intel(R) Core 2Duo processor with dg31pr motherboard can get extremely hot the problem is that it is use daily 11to 15 hours or more with out rest because when i leave my bro sit.Can i install...

You must replace the processor cooler with something like
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=4502178&CatId=1588
and add a case cooler which will plug in the Aux power connector (that looks just like the power connector for the processor cooler).

DG31PR Audio driver problem...

djaquiambao -

Go here and choose your operating system to get the latest drivers:

http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Product_Filter.aspx?ProductID=2839

Download all of the packages listed under "Drivers", and install each one separately.

That should get everything on the board working.

Thanks,

Go to add/remove software and uninstall any Realtek software before installing this driver from Intel. If there is nothing listed in the Add/Remove just go ahead with the driver install.

Post your results or any additional error messages under this thread so I can follow up with you...

Hi sunil27482, please create a folder on you're desktop & name it sound. Go to this Intel link & download driver number 3 into the sound folder.
Audio: Intel® HD Audio Controller - Realtek* Codec 4/29/2008
http://downloadcenter.intel.com/filter_results.aspx?strTypes=all&ProductID=2839&OSFullName=Windows*+XP+Professional&lang=eng&strOSs=44&submit=Go%21
Once downloaded into the sound folder uncompress the driver software by double left clicking on the .exe file. You will now see a new folder named "AUD_allOS_5605_PV_Realtek".
Now go back into device manager &
Right click once on the yellow ! point & left click once on update driver. Windows hardware wizard will open. Click No, not at this time. Than click the next button. Another window will open. Left click once in the circle next to, Install from a list or specific location (Advanced). Than click the next button. Again, another window will open. We want to remove the green check mark next to, Search removable media (floppy, CD-ROM...). Click the green check mark once & it will go away.
Click the browse button, click the + sign next to my computer. Find you're desktop & open the sound folder you created. Click once on the AUD_allOS_5605_PV_Realtek folder so it is high lighted. Than click OK. Windows will find the correct driver software & install it.
If you have any trouble, please list here the issue.

Good Luck!
Mike
