My ce150 was doing the same thing and it turns out that it's the way I threaded it. You have to get the machine to recognize the thread in the path. When you thread it, don't be (as my teacher calls me "whimpy" with the thread. Hold it tight, and make sure it goes under the plate at the top, then around the wheel to the left. Once there, hold the thread in both hands and move it back and forth under the plate and around the wheel kind of like you're flossing your teeth. After a few back and forths, continue threading. You may also need to lightly hold the thread when you make your first stitches to ensure the thread is reasonably tight. Once I did this, it works great now! Good luck!

Machine sews 5 stitches stops, sews another 5 stitches, stops?

What happens when it stops? Do you get an error message? Does it say that it's out of thread? Are you doing embroidery, or sewing at the time?

I have a futura ce 150 and my bobbin thread won't catch

Are you able to bring the bobbin thread to the top of the needle plate, but it's skipping stitches, or you can't "catch" the bobbin thread to start sewing at all.

If you can't "catch" it at all, your machine's hook is no longer synchronizing, and you will need to have it retimed by a technician. The good news is, timing is not something that is unique per manufacturer, which means ANY sewing machine technician should be able to do it.

Singer ce100 is skipping stitches when needle is in center position

You don't say what you are sewing so I'm going to give you general answers in hopes it helps.

1. Needles: There is no such thing as a universal needle. Make sure you are using the proper needle for your fabric. This goes for thread too... make sure it's sized for the needle.

2. Make sure the bobbin is threaded correctly (poorly wound bobbins will cause problems too)

3 Improperly threaded machine. Make sure you area threading it correctly with the foot in the UP position.

4. If you are a material puller... shop it. It is never good to pull your fabric through the machine as you sew.

5. Stitch length. simple rule: Fat fabric.. long stitch, fine/thin fabric short stitch.

I'm not familiar with your futura abut I've noticed new home machines take a way presser foot pressure adjustments... which can cause issues too.

Bobbin won't wind on Singer futura CE-100

My singer hasn't wound bobbins for years and I don't care because I use a Side Winder bobbin winder. It's much easier than takining the thread off the machine anyway. Available from Hancock, Jo Ann or even Wal Mart for about $30.

I had to replace a bobbin case because either a design ( I made) was too dense or my thread caught on something and the machine needed to be timed. When I did the test stitching in sew mode it stitched...

Being simple minded as i am, if your singer ce100 works the stitch looks good just be glad you are not having the problems so many are, if you want to see bobbin thread on bottom tighten top tension

This error indictaes that the upper thread is broken. If it is not the sensor is telling the computer the thread is broken. Try tightening the upper thread tension some and rethread the upper thread.
