Reboot after 10 seconds.

You have accomplished what is known as "bricking" your device. If anything interrupts a firmware update, in most cases the equipment will be unable to recover from it. It will require factory servicing to reestablish the firmware. It is usually cheaper to buy a new device. Remember this about firmware upgrades - just because one is available does not mean you should upgrade. Many devices will work forever without them. Unless you are in a situation where changing requirements of your equipment and/or providers means an upgrade MUST be performed, the best rule is "if it isn't broken, don't fix it!"

I'm trying to upgrade the firmware on a belkin wireless router

upgrade of Firmware is at your risk...
never upgrade Firmwares....they are not ment for that....
your hardware may be rendered useless after firmware upgrades....the chip inside your hardware is programed to run based on a certian program installed as a firmware from the factory....sometimes upgrades will screwup your be careful and do it at your own risk...

Firmware Upgrade Failed

Firmware upgrade is a simple but a delicate procedure. Make sure you are loading the correct firmware. You should get your firmware from the website of your router. Installing a THIRD PARTY firmware to your router voids the warranty of your router. Here is a tip for a successful firmware upgrade. BEFORE FIRMWARE UPGRADE(push the reset button of the router for 30 seconds then unplug the power of the router for 10 seconds). Upgrade the firmware. After the upgrade push the reset button again for 30seconds, unplug power for 10 seconds.
