Hi, You may have to take apart the laptop to find the connection problem. In many cases it will be in the hinge. If you are not the fixing type brimg it to a PC shop. Good Luck.
Try earlier versions of 3D games.
Your computer is a somewhat older model. So try playing 3D games released around 2000-2002.
Try NFS 6 or lower, GTA version 2, IGI 1 & 2 etc.
If even they don't work, try replacing the VGA card with a compatible but better VGA card (Cards from nVidia might be a good option).
Some games need certain VGA capacity to be played, especially big game file like RPG. How much your VGA RAM now ? I suggest you to upgrade your VGA to 1 GB or more (min 512 MB for games) and see if your problem will be solved.
Hi I think I have a solution. If perhaps your graphic card is working now with some games then your graphic card is not the problem. When new games come out they require more FPS (frames per second) in which you need an ungrade card. I suggestion is to buy the PC game first then read the PROCESS requirements and for instance mine says RADEON HD 2400 HD and I need a 4800 to play my new game :( go I am giving up on PC games because of the consistant upgrades Good Luck!
i'm afraid you wont be able to play any games on this unit as it has only an onboard graphics adapter runing at 8MB minimum and probably 32MB maximum as it is being shared with your system memory, so there wont be any change if you download the latest drivers as they only work the graphics not upgrade them.
even some of the latest notebooks cannot play games very well unless they are more expensive models with dedicated graphics cards and not onboard graphics.
