The paper goes thru d printer but it comes out blank then the paper stucks half way thru this process. the screen of the digital camera says ink casette error. how do i fix this? pls help! thank u!
If you just put new cartridges in the printer, check to make sure you removed all of the protective plastic wrap that may be required to remove prior to printing.
Also, check the cartridges by removing and replacing each one. make sure there is no obstruction, or torn papers, that may cause a jam or other problems.
Also, after verifying all that. Use the printer utilities to run a test.
Hopefully that should fix or clarify if there is any other problem.

You will find the print utilities on the computer. click on the printer icon under the printer & Fax settings in your control panel. Chose the printer and right clik on the properties option that comes up on the pop up menu. When that opens up, look for the tab that says utilities or something similar to that.
If you don't see it. I would recommend using the HP print driver install Cd that came with the printer to reinstall the printer (but first delete the current printer icon off your computer... right clik...select delete)
If you don't have the cd, you can download the most updated drivers from the hp.com website.... look for the support & driver download link.

before it showed this problem the printer was working really well. we thought it was the ink casette that was the problem. we bought a new ink casette, tried printing again...and had same trouble. we checked the inside of the printer but there seemed to be nothing that might cause jamming of the paper. about the printer utilities, where can i find it--in the printer itself or in the computer? thanks for trying to help.
