Question about Pioneer SX-315
If the vent holes are blocked .. Unblock them.. Then just play with some settings a little and it should work fine.. Mine overheated and kept shutting itself off.. My mom gave it to me and said if I could get it working, I could have it.. It got going just fine within the hour..

The unit is overheating, or at least thinks it is overheating.
Blow the dust out of the thing and see if that helps. If not, you have a thermistor that is bad or is going bad. Probably the thermistor nearest/on the audio amp transistor's heatsink.
