Question about HP Pavilion dv9000z Notebook
The WIFI card is located in the memory bay in belly panel on your laptop. If your unit fails to boot or display but powers up it would not be WIFI card related. If your wifi card is problematic you'll get a post boot message " unsupported wirelesss card " Can you please define more specific what your problem is. Is it powers on but no boot - no display - is it powering up screen lights up but no display but hdd actity is evident.

It is probably under one of the panels on the back of the computer that are held onto the back of the computer with tiny phillips head screws...
