Question about Dell Latitude D600 Notebook
How can I get the battery to charge again? Is it a bios setting? or am I missing something? It worked fine until I took a trip and partway thru the trip the battery quit charging?
Remove battery and reseat.
Use VOM (Volt-Ohm Meter) and phsically check to make sure the power supply is putting out advertised voltage (typically 19-20 VDC)
Make sure power supply recepticle (the female part on the laptop itself) has not been broken or reamed out such that contact is not being made.
When you plug power supply in, does the charging light on the laptop come on?

I'm in the same situation. Apparently, the motherboard contains a
chipset that controls the power charging to the battery by identifying
the charger type. I updated my Bios & flashed, bought new baterry
and check with 2nd charger with no luck.
Solution.. Replace Motherboard ( in other words trow your laptop and get a new one)
