In the list on the left click on Memory Boards.
1) Ease the spring clip outwards from the ram memory module, ('Stick'), just far enough so the 'bump' on the spring clip, clears the Side Notch on the ram memory module.
Now ease the other spring clip outwards. When both spring clips 'bumps' are clear of the Side Notches, the ram memory module will slightly pop-up.
DO NOT bring the ram memory module to a straight up 90 degree position when removing!
You will damage the gold plated contact pins on the bottom of the ram memory module.
You will also damage the contact pins in the ram memory slot on the motherboard.
When removing and installing, the ram memory module must be angled.
2) Handle a ram memory module by the Body, refrain from touching the gold plated contact pins on the bottom.
The Body is coated with a see-through protective plastic.
3) Make sure the ram memory module/s are fully seated when installing.
When the 'bumps' on the spring clips are in the Side Notches of the ram memory module, it is fully seated.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:1GB_DDR2_SO-DIMM.png
4) At the bottom of a ram memory module is a Locating Notch.
This lines up with a Locating Lug in the bottom of the ram memory slot.
Make SURE you have these two aligned when installing.
