This mower in nigh on impossible to start, having had a Briggs and Stratton previously the xtreme isn't fit for purpose. I bought brand new one 2 weeks ago and the only way it would start ( after 20 attempts, no exaggeration ) was to swap the spark plug with my old B&S. It's very prone to flooding, as it fails to start everytime y pull the cord with the throttle open it's pumping more fuel in. I'm taking it back tomorrow, managed to cut the grass twice and now refuses to start at all, Advise yu to avoid at all costs.
I have had my challenge extreme mower for 2 years and it's always been brilliant! I was very impressed with it especially for a cheap mower. It's never let me down! It would seem there is something wrong with the one you bought. Don't let this one put you off, or put others off, please, as I really cannot fault mine, it's always been a very reliable little mower!

your carburator is dirty inside.the needle and seat need to be replaced.the needle holds back the gas when it's not needed.hope this helped,just let me know................................
