Question about Canon FAX-C855
I have reinstalled the OS and tried a USB as well as a parallel connection with no success. The following is the message I'm getting: "MultiPASS Unable to communicate with the device. Please start "MPService" from the Services applet in the Control Panel.
Then please right-click on the Status Monitor to Reconnect and try again."
I have followed the recommended fix with limited success. However there has not been a permanent solution.
Since there was no answer from your suppory folks I started looking for additional fixes on line and found the following:
From the MultiPASS F80 or F60's Download Library page, download file MP420XPUpdate.exe. Double-clicking the downloaded file, will automatically expand and run the update files to the appropriate directory on your computer's hard drive. Please note that MultiPASS Suite 4.20 must be installed prior to running the update file.
