Hi,
This happened to my parents, I'm just going to try to phone them and fix it. I have seen online that your mails are still in google, but they were probably moved out of the inbox when Incredimail accessed the pop server using your gmail password.
You can find your emails in All Mail in gmail, if you check mark them and click 'move to inbox' they'll be back.
What is worrying is how that damned incredimail found the passwords, they are probably in a folder in the google folder in AppData.
I have seen online that the same incredimail also downloads web extensions/plugins that try to direct your searches, and also lots of adware.
It surprises me that anyone views it as legitimate software. Especially the way it downloads itself when someone is only trying to download things like emoticons, the way it then surreptitiously searches your computer and finds passwords to other email accounts, and then logs itself onto the pop server without any user permission.
I am not even sure how it changes Gmail settings to move mail out of your inbox. It may actually send your password to a server somewhere which logs onto your gmail account and changes settings.
It may do the same with hotmail, yahoo, msn email accounts.
