I don't have my owner's manual and I'd like to know how to set my oven to come on later in the day, program the temp, and tell it when to stop.

The model number for the oven is JJW952711. Serial 10058248YM.
I would like to know how to program the oven to come on later in the date, how to set the temp for that, and how to turn off the oven automatically.

  • marylee1 Mar 07, 2009

I apparently also need to add the brand name which is Jenn Air. I thought I was on their repair web site.
    Model: JJW952711
How to program the oven for coming on later in the day.

  • marylee1 Mar 07, 2009

I posted the only model number I can see. Is there something else?

  • marylee1 Mar 07, 2009

Do you need something else. I'm still waiting for your reply.

Hi, I'm sorry but without a make and model we don't know what features your range has. We don't even know if it has electronic controls or not. More information is necessary for the best solution to your problem.

Trying to cook prime rib that needs to rest in hot oven for 2 hours. How do I turn off cooling fan

that fan is a cooling fan but not for the food,it's to cool down the electronics in the oven like the clock assy. so it's doing it's job, that's why i tell people not to use the self clean feature on stoves or ovens, the temp. gets up to 1000 degrees and it will sooner or later damage the electronics in the machine,so if you're gonna use it use it after the holidays,i see people use it the day before thanksgiving, the oven stops working and parts have to be ordered or if it's an older oven you can't get parts anymore and they can't cook so that fan is a good thing.happy holidays.you have to set the oven on a low setting just to keep the oven warm.like 200 or 225,also some ovens have a warming draw under the oven door,if you have this make sure you clean it first,i've seen them filled with dust because nobody ever uses it.here i googled this for you

Oven temperature on Neff 195305317 circotherm oven

hi remember that electric can kill you even if it is unplugged, if you don't know what components are likely to hold charge or have large inductance get someone else to fix it.

you need to get the service manual as tis will have fault finding charts, part numbers, location of sensors etc. If you can't get manual then:
Not likely to be temp limiter as this cuts out if temp is too hot. Find temp probe, may be ntc, mercury vapour switch etc. take probe out disconnect leads and measure resistance, heat, or cool, probe measure resistance if not significantly different (ie 10k to 100k or 100k to 300k) then probe is shot. Take probe to spares place, get replacement and refit. Be very careful to refit leads exactly as they came out, don't want insulation to melt and oven to become live. test with oven or meat thermometer as new sensor may need calibration. Should be accurate to within 10C or so

hope this helps

Experienced recent power outage in my neighborhood. When power came back on, the display on my Bosch Oven HBL5035 now reads "F03 Err". Tried unplugging, but can't get rid of error code and...

sounds like a power surge occurred when power came on and blew out something on the main board. Try looking up the model and model number online and you can find the owners manual then look up the section that tells what the code means. Try unplugging it and leave unplugged for an hour. then plug it in and see if this helps.

Oven heats up on preheat nut does not maintain temp for cooking

The older type stoves used a flue to maintain the temp. Later on we went to gas or electric heat.
Mercury based bulb mounted to a oven control maintained the flow of gas or shoctricity to the appliance. Todays modern kitchen appliance rely on thermistors to verify temps for the oven control.
A thermistor is a special resister that changes voltages. When the heat rises in the oven the voltage being sent out is messed with. These voltage drops are monitored by headquarters. The heat source is applied by judgement rendered from these measurements. In other words the control gets word and sends heat or don't send none. So what can go wrong? Sensor out of spec throws a monkey wrench in the works. That fancy smancy control yall paid big money fer don't know weather to well yall get the picture. The sensor used to measure temps in the oven is usually 1100 ohms at room temp. if it is off the oven will not work correct.

When pushed, the 30 sec button says 3 minutes. none of the display buttons work.

Have you inadvertently programmed your microwave for "autostart"?
Your model microwave has the ability to be programmed to go on at any given time of the day/night, even when you're not home so that you can have a defrosted and cooked meal waiting for you when you get in.
I know that if you hit the 30 sec button or the minute button when your micro is programmed to autostart it will tell you the time that it's programmed to autostart or the amount of time that's left for it continue cooking.

Have you tried unplugging it for a few minutes?
This should clear it's memory and then all you'll have to do is set the time on the regular clock if you want.

Here's where you can download and read your owners manual for further instructions on how to use the autostart feature and everything else:
