Question about Peg Perego 12 Volt Rechargeable Battery

Peg perego 12v charger question

If the light on the charger turns green does that mean it is fully charged or is there another indication of a fully charged battery? If this is an overnight charger, do they make a quick charger?

The green light means it is ready to use. If the battery is bad though, the light will still be green.

How long does it take to charge my peg perego batteries, and is it possible to overcharge them?

A peg perego battery typically charges for 8-12 hours. Though in the short run it won't hurt to leave the battery plugged into the charger after the light on the charger turns green, it could wear out the battery if you do this continually. did you verify the battery voltage with a multimeter, could have a bad charger that gives a green light making one think that the battery is fully charged, also check the fuse on the battery

How do i know if the battery is fully charged 12volt peg Perego battery

the charger's L.E.D. ... when plugged to the charger will glow GREEN if fully charged, YELLOW if charging, if it is charged and gator still is not working it is probably the shifter switch is bad, this is verycommon and fairly cheap and easy to fix(under 40.00)

I got a Peg Perego Charger when I plug it into the battery no light comes on at all. Does that mean the battery is completely dead?

Not necessarily. There should be some type of light on the charger- green means charged, red or orange, not charged.

If no light comes on, it's the charger.
