Have you checked the main dust channels from the hose leading into the bin? Have you brushed clean the main filter cones? Make sure all the filters have been properly cleaned *(and if washed make sure its completely dry before puttng back into the machine.) Also please check the beater bar, especially the dust channel behind it as it can get clogged badly.

You will have to clean the filter and clean the main motor.  I had this issue on mine and the main motor was so full of dust bunnies, that it stopped it from creating a vacuum.

My vacuum lost it's suction power. I've looked to see if it's clogged and the container is clean. What's going on?

That type of vac is notorious for stopping up where the 90 degree turn is. You may need to access it from the vac head by removing the beater bar or take it apart where ever you can access the turns and hoses.

The 1st time i used the vac the brushes are not turning

Hi there Vaccum Guru from VacuumSpot.com.au here. Wow that is ****, however it's just not your problem. Take it back to the place you bought it from and ask them to replace it. Bissell are a good machine and have great backup, this should not be a problem.
Hope this helps :)

Vaccum problem

No sound at all? or the motor runs but no vaccuum?
did it stop while using it? might have overheated due to dirty filters... strange that the light comes on but no motor at all... that would suggest to me that the motor is shot...

Here is a link the the manual.. there is no reference to any user accessable fuse or breaker...

Peace,

Bissell 3750-T Bagless Upright Vacuum motor is hot, noisy, and smells like it is burned out, but still working. Can I replace the motor?

There are threee filters inside this unit. Be sure all three are clean. You can't clean the Hepa filter. You can only replace it. You may even try pluging it in and running it (not while vacuuming the carpet) without the filters to see if it is clogged up anywhere. It's not uncommon to **** up an object that doesn't fit though the vaccum hose very well and for that item to cause hair etc to catch on it and plug that hose. Before you know it you have a big plug in that hose. The hose detaches easily. Look through it.

Bissell vaccum problem

Could be plugged, check the hose and at the bottom by the brush roll, the inlet maybe clogged. Also check the filter under neath the dirt tank. There are filters above the dirt container, clean those out. If after that it is still loud, then maybe the motor fan or bearins are bad and will have to be replaced, part #2031214 sells for around $55.
