THE RED LIGHT IS ON AND BEEPS EVERY MINUTE

What motherboard do you have? If you don't know, provice make and model of your system and maybe we can find out that way. Is it one long beep? Are there any other beeps and/or a sequence. A good place to start and alot of times, depending on your bios, 1 to 3 beeps means a problem with the RAM(memory). If you have more than 1 stick, you can pull them out, restart and if the beep is the same, you've probably found your culprit. You can then insert one at a time in one of your slots, then restart. If this works, you've found a good stick. If not, try another slot and restart, etc. Try all sticks in all slots.

The ram went in machine so i replaced it with the right ram and it makes now when i switch on a beep.... beep beep then a paluse then a single beep and it repeats and the compture wont turn on at all

Hello
Completly unplug your pc from the wall.

Open up the case and remove all sticks of ram for a minute.Set aside the new or the ram you replaced.

Put ram back in leaving out the new one.If pc starts and no beeps, then repeat process but this time put in new ram along with old.

Be sure ram is properly seated, ive had this problem myself due to not having the ram in all the way.

Restart pc,if you still have a beep then you either have the wrong ram or it is in the wrong slot.
If there are 4 color coded ram slots say white blue then white blue be sure both sticks are in white or blue slots but not side by side.

Dont forget to plug your pc back in.

Good luck.

My PC just turn off and when I turn it back on, I just receive a long beep repeatedly.

Check your memory modules.
Start by removing it, then blow some air into the slot to clean from dust.
Reset it and turn the pc back on.
If this doesn't help, you need to get new memory.
Good luck

re check all inserted pci cards and all memory, reseat if necassary. Have you recently upgraded anything, if so remove. Continuos beeps can also indicate processor power failure.
