Slim-Twin washer does not start

Hi have a Whirlpool "Slim-Twin" Washer/Dryer combo. The dryer works perfectly. The washer however will not start at ANY cycle type. The agitator will also not turn, although I don't know if it's even supposed to turn before a cycle has started. I am not really sure what to even check. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I've been researching this model a little bit, I think there are 2 fuses inside, but I dont know where. If I have to take mine apart, I'll let you know.. Did the machine ever run, or did you just get it. Is there 2 cords to your machine a 220 cord and a 110 cord, or does the washer just run off the 220, but your washer doesn't work, so you dont really know, but if it has two cords, could you let me know, so I can find the end of mine ha..thanks chuck

Whirlpool Thin Twin. NOISE WHEN SPINNING.

Noises are difficult to 'hear' in writing. The machine uses two motors, and it would be quite the coincidence if they got dry bearing together.

Here are all your parts in nice exploded diagrams.

Thermal Fuse

Item #2986 (OEM Part)
$10.70

Thermal fuse. If the dryer overheats, this device stops the flow of electricity to the heat source and/or the entire dryer. It is located on the blower housing and cannot be reset. The most common cause for overheating is a vent tube clogged with lint, a birds nest or other debris.
