Question about Sharp Notevision XG-NV6XU Multimedia Projector
Any thoughts on what could be causing the problem
Bad power board or blown fuse. If you feel comfortable you can take the out case off and follow the power connector to the board. You can then check the fuse. Make sure the unit is unplugged before doing so. If the fuse is fine then you will need to replace the board as it probably has a bad capacitor or resistor. You can find a power board online but to be honest, its probably not worth the money to by a new one. Would probably be cheaper to buy a used one with a bad lamp and cannibalize the power board out of it.
