HP Compaq d530 SFF PC Desktop. Black Screen and Cursor blinking..

I got a HP Compaq d530 SFF PC Desktop. On boot-up the HP screen comes up without the bootom BIOS part and stayed like that forever.
I did removed and checked the lithium battery: good > 3V.

Put back the battery in, reboot: Black screen with underlien (cursor) blinking top left of the screen, nothing else..

Any Idea?

Thanks

    Wow,

The non-bootable state (not even getting to BIOS, was caused by a faulty Webcam! If plugged during operation the webcam would not work but would not affect the PC otherwise, until you reboot.

Once the USB from the Cam unplugged, everything is back to normal!

    re-wow

    Bye

These are network boot cards, basically it's looking for boot options from across your network. You can change the boot options in your BIOS or there is usually a key combination to press that is displayed on screen during boot to shut of the PXE boot of your network card.

I have an HP D530 SFF and have a similar boot issue as another person on this forum. When I turn on the computer it acts like it is going to boot and then goes to a black screen with an underscore blinking...
