Question about Tomtom XL 330 Car GPS Receiver
I don't particularly want to buy an after market battery (£16 incl. postage) in case that doesn't solve the problem.
I am able to delve inside if there is a fix available - I just want my TomTom working again! (Not bothered about using it 'on battery'.)
I would have a TOmTOm again as I love the system.....
Thanks Claire
If you are not bothered about using it on battery your tt should work if you have it hooked up to a external power supply such as the car charger or home charger. If it doesn't work using either of the power supplies then your problem is deeper than just needing a new battery. Check the pins on the bottom of your tt to see if they are bent, or out of place. The most common problem for them is the negative pin on the far left with the lcd screen facing away from you gets bent or is not making contact even though the green light is on.
Hope this helps
