When ever I go to use something it will go to that option. Than after it will just freeze and not let me close it and the only way i fix it is to take the battery out. And after a couple of minutes it freezes again.

> Check the number of applications that are running in the back ground close some and check if it still freezes > Try to identify from when the phone started freezing - if there was an app you downloaded prior to that uninstall that app and check if still freezes > you can also install an anti virus and run a scan to check if your phone is infected
This can't be fixed since our phones seem to be left behind by the complexities of the appns we trying to run. The appn designers keep code running in the background when you try to do something which zapps your phones processing speed. Due to this my only advice is take it slowely, get a hefty micro SD and put as much on there as you can from your phone. Get practice removing the battery to restart your phone. You will need to be familiar with this since I have to do this at least twice a day. The other key issue is that the low quality back of our phones (specifically Samsung Galaxy W) does not secure the battery as well as other phones. As a result, the battery can jiggle and wiggle slightly which causes phone freeze. They are great phones but just a bit toooo cold as things stand and really need to warm up to stop the freeze. Only Samsung can do this!
This unit is prone of freezing up due to low memory. Check your free space on your phone, make sure you are cleaning memory,by purging cache memory etc. Also when you leave a program actually select"CLOSE" button. Most people close the applications by pressing the escape or red key. This does not close the application has a CLOSE option. For instance if you are in the calendar hit hit menu key and scroll down to the bottom CLOSE is listed. Go through each application and press close. Go into the cache operations clear all categories and hit escape it will say cleaning memory. Go to options - security - memory cleaning - enable it. The BB will now clean memory when idle for 5 minutes. Hope it may helps, feel free to ask whatever the result.
mine did the same thing, but i went into the phone and checked "NO" to the mass storage mode support. to get there....go to "options"...then click on "memory". then turn off "mass storage mode support".
