After connecting the phone to the PC via the USB cable, a message is displayed, found new hardware Samsung Mobile USB Device,
this is quickly followed by an error message ,an error occured durring installation of the device ,the data is invalid.
would this indicate an error involving the installation of the files on the accompaning Phone CD,the phone itself, or my PC .

Sounds like you need to uninstall the software, reinstall it and then connect your phone. If you are usng the front USB panels, try the back ones. Sometime the front connectors are USB1 and are not fast enough.

Hello, To to connect your Samsung SGH 600 to your computer, you will need to go to the link below and download the software that meets your PC's specifications. (e.g Windows XP, Windows 7). Once the software is installed use a USB cable to connect your phone to your PC.http://www.samsung.com/uk/support/model/SGH-G600YKACNX-downloads
it no need a pc suite to transfer files just connect your phone to computer using a provided cable data from your phone go to setting menu on your phone go to pc connection pick mass storage just ignore the message of found new hardware in your laptop
What type of connection are you using? Is it via cable or via bluetooth? If its via a USB cable, you need to make sure that you select the correct option. It can work as a mass storage device, a media player or via the Samsung PC Suite(the disc contains the software that needs to be installed on your computer). If you want only access to your memory card, then you can use it as a mass storage device. If you plan to sync your messages etc to the PC suite then you need to install it and connect via the PC Suite.
Disconnec the phone from the PC.
insert the Disc and run and install the Samsung PC Studio on the PC.
Now reboot the PC.
Connect the phone to PC via the USB cable.
And the PC should say SGH G600 connected.
The with the help of file manager on the Samsung PC Studio, xfer the pics to whatever folder you want.
first pcsuite install before driver install your phone connect it now working , or your phone connected cable already install pcsuite next yor phone pcsuite cd insert pc next connected data cable display find new hardware plse search install driver automatic two times try it now working
Try this, I had a the same problem as you guys + found this on a web
forum. Quite a frustrating problem to have, It fixes the phone, but
after a while you have to do this over again. I am wishing I never
bought this phone, even though the reviews were really great.
Unplug usb cable from phone
