Re: emonitor is not powering on and worked fine 2 days...
Ok, take the power cord off of the monitor and use the one from your computer. Plug it directly into the wall, not into a surge protector...press the power button on the monitor? Does that work? Let me know and I will continue to help if it doesn't.

The start up problem is common and will only get worse. Call Samsung as these monitors have a 3-year warranty. No receipt? They will accept your word regarding your purchase. I have
two that failed exactly the same way. I called 1-800-SAMSUNG and they
gave me the choice of an exchange pair sent directly to my house
(requiring a temporary credit card deposit) or by having the exchange
pair sent to the UPS store where I would swap out my bad units. No
receipt. They merely asked me when I purchased it so they could have
it for their records. Manufacture dates such as your (March '06) and a
purchase of September '06 are not far fetched at all. .
Same problem started happening two days ago and ever since. I called LG and the product falls under a 3yr product warranty according to them (from my original purchase date of January 20, 2007). They will send packing slips to me so I can send the defective unit back to LG. I was told I am eligible for a replacement monitor - which will be shipped to me within 10 to 14 days (consecutive days, not business) - although I'm not sure what I'm being sent in return. My suspicion is that this monitor issue is a known issue by LG and they are quietly replacing the unit to those who follow through by calling CS.
Tips: Have your original purchase date on hand (in the form of a receipt) just in case they want proof of purchase.
If you know how to open it up and get to the power supply you will find three capacitors 2-820uf and 1-330 @ 25vdc 105o.they will have puffed up tops replace them. FYI the monitor has a 3 year warranty.
I had an issue with this TV too, it suddenly started blinking on and off whilst I was watching TV. I turned it off and on and problem persisted. I then pulled the power cable out from TV whilst it was still switched on and waited a few mins and put it back in. It has been 2 days and the issue hasn't happened again.
