Question about HP Color LaserJet 4550n Printer
I have to turn off my printer to get it to stop printing blank pages. I tried troubleshooting and resetting but it didn't work. I cleaned my transfer belt with an air compressor but it didn't work. I have 59% life left on my transfer belt so this is not the solution. Is there anything else i can do to get my printer to work properly?
Hi, I notice you have ruled out the transfer belt as asolution because it has 59% life left. Not to be rude but this does not exclude the transfer belt as the problem. I am 98%-100% sure that if you change the trasnsfer belt you will solve your problem.
I was doing work for a large corp. that sent a guy from Ohio to Colorado twice for this problem before he asked my opinion I told him tranfer belt. He was a Hero.
Hope this helps.

Ok...On the top of the drum on the right hand side there is a sliver contact. This connects to a sprung brass contact inside the printer. Check to make sure that it is moving freely.
