Change the fuse and check the ground most likely the reason it blew in the first place. Bad ground

Why would my pw 350 subwoofer lose all it's power? There are no lights at all or sound, please help!!!

There is probably an internal fuse which you can check with the amp unplugged (unbolt the amp from the woofer, noting all gaskets.) If it's blown, it could have fatigued so just replacing it would fix it, or it may have blown because the amp or power supply failed. If that is the case, a new fuse will blow immediately. I can fix it for you if it has a blown amp or supply. Contact me at ken_more@netzero.net.

All the lights are not working found 2 blown fuses / replaced still not working the power lite flashes red then turns to green

When a fuse blow suspect an overload. In an amp this old it will certainly be one (or more) of the main output transistors that has shorted.

Fuse was blown not working replace fuse nothing is happening?

The most common reason for the fuse blowing is a failed class D output amp module, which unfortunately is rather costly and unique to this product. I just repaired one of these for my brother. You might get lucky here, but JBL recommends reflowing the solder on the amp module because of experiences of bad solder joints. It doesn't take long to remove the rear cover and expose the amp module's bottom. The module is about the size of a pack of playing cards, and is near the center of the printed circuit board. Remelt all the solder joints in a row along the bottom, adding a little bit more solder, and see if that works. I've got the service manual in PDF Found online at harmon kardon by googling the model number and "service manual", but not at the computer I'm at right now. This is a nice sub, for sure. Contact me if you give up and want to get rid of it.

Heater blower resistor gets very hot

the resistor is indeed very hot! and you are right it's cool by the blower, that's why most resistors are in the blower case.
the fuse was blown because it's not the right amp rating or the blower may be going bad.

Fuse blown need to know which fuse controls the radio

when you pull the fuse panel cover it has a diagram that tells you which one. Also you can just look at the fuses, if its blown you just replace it. I would also check your ground going to the radio, they usually don't blow unless you have added a amp or something not designed for the vehicle, you probably need to increase the ground size cable.

AMP Problems

may have blown an output transistor. Remove the wires from the speaker terminals and see if the problem still persists. If the light comes on with no load, it will need servicing by a technician.

'98 Ford Expedition - 4WD/AWD won't engage. The switch to engage the 4WD/AWD does not light up and the 4WD/AWD will not engage. No engaging noises or anything. It's as if the switch has...

I had a similar problem, but not exactly the same. In my expedition 98 the A4WD worked, but the 4x4 hi or low did not. Ford dealership diagnosed it to be the transfer case shift motor. I bought one from ebay for $85 and replaced it myself and it works fine now. They wanted $450 to replace it.

Some say you can tap the transfer case motor with hammer, but gently and it may come to life. I didn't try that.

JBL Eon 15 Blown Fuse

These fuses are most likely 3 Amp fuses. Please note that if the replacements blow as well, that there is a problem within the amp section that will require repair.

Neff combi blown diode.

If the diode failed by opening, there may be no other damage. If the dioded failed by shorting, the alternating current may have damaged other components. Ohm it out. You can get diodes from digikey.com, mouser.com, or radio shack or any electronics or appliance supply. If the diode is charred and you can't get the part number, the oven rating can be used to select a replacement. Since the fuse was 10 amps, the diode should also handle at least 10 amps. If you can power the unit and read the voltage at the diode input this will give you the power (volts times amps). It's always worth trying as it's cheaper than replacing the unit.
