52.X PRINTER ERROR
The laser scanner speed is incorrect. X description: 1 = Scanner startup error 2 = Scanner rotation error
1. Press GO. The page containing the error will automatically be reprinted. 2. Turn the printer off and then on. 3. Reseat cables to the laser/ scanner and engine controller. 4. Replace the laser/scanner.
The problem correspondent to this error code is: "Error relating to PCL emulation problems occurs." The solution is: · Press the "Return" buttonto clear the message, cancel the current print job, and conduct the next print job, if any.Press Cancel to cancel the print job.
reach up under display on left and pull the blue lever forward.then push the cancel button. if that does not do it then turn off and back on. if still no go then your scanner itself is off track and needs to be but back on.
If the printer cannot print or move any paper, follow these steps to display the Event Log. Otherwise, print the Event Log. 1. Press Menuuntil INFORMATION MENU appears. 2. Press Itemuntil SHOW EVENT LOG appears. Press Selectto show the Event Log. 3. Press - Value +to scroll through the Event Log. 4. Write down the error messages. In the section where the paper exits the printer, there is a blue latch. Pull it towards you. It does take a little pressure to pull. You may need to press cancel a few times. That should clear it out. If it doesn't, The scanning unit assemply needs replaced...or the printer itselft which ever is cheaper.
