Help with sicar C2500/2-3 planer thicknesser

I've just bought a second hand sicar C2500 planer thicknesser, unfortunatly no manual was supplied. i've been on sicar/wadkin website but details are only tech-specs,not how to use the machine.
I need to know how to change blades, where to buy them, is there a special blade changing spanner and can a manual be supplied. can you help thanks in anticipation.

I bought a dewalt planer model DW 735 but did not get an operator's manual. I was told there was a printable one at a website but went to that site and could not find it. Can you help please?

try going to dewaltservicenet.com and on the left hand side under find parts (small print manuals) type in your model number it will redirect you to the manual/breakdown page. the manual is 60 pages long if you download the complete one. Let me know if you are still having trouble.

How to fit bosch PHO 15-82 planer blades

  1. Unplug from mains and turn planer upside down.
  2. Using Allen key (stored in heel of planer) slacken off the 2 sets of 3 screws that clamp the blade in place. One 360 degree turn should be enough
  3. Use piece of wood or flat screwdriver blade to slide old blade out the side of the blade track.
  4. Rake any dirt out of the blade track with screwdriver blade.
  5. Slide in new blades, check it is correctly centred and tighten screws. Take care not to over-tighten.
  6. Repeat with second blade.
  7. Carefully rotate blade carrier by hand checking that blades are parallel to the sole of the plane.
  8. If blades are out of true you will need to remove them again, take off the blade clamping plates and adjust the blade locating plate, which is held in place by 2 further Allen screws.

Does not feed the lumber by itself

Google your unit for support and manual. Make sure you unplug the unit before working on it. Check the feed roller to see if a wire brush can clean the gripping area.

I bought a second hand (dewalt-DW677XE) planer and need to get a users manual to be able to use it properly.

I didn't really fix the problem as such because when I check the product number, it wasn't compatible with any of their products. My product number is DW677E-Planer.

I will just have to ask my tradesman to look at it and see if he can figure out how to use it properly without the users manual.

Thank you.
