If you strike a low note too loud you risk damaging the speaker itself. The low note will cause hte speaker to extrude too far when loud and can either pop out completely or wear through the voice coil and short out the amp.

In short, don't do it.

What is the modern replacement speaker for Marshall 27115 bass combo

You would be Seamus?

Eminence are not a high-priced speaker. You could replace it with one of the bass guitar speakers here, like the large magnet CB15

Hello,

A common issue with Marshall Amps are generally speaking a low resistor value cracked leg inside the power module, just open up the amp and with the amp unplugged from mains check by a little finger movement the big 2/3W resistors and possibly you will find that one or other will have a broken leg, also cold solder joints do this kind of issue, hope this helps...

Hello, well i just bought this week an MB4410 marshall and it sounds a lil bit distored even at low volumes and on the clean modern channel, i just wanted to know if thats how the amp should sound like or...

First make sure your guitar can't "hear" the amp as the sound can rattle the strings and have a form of feedback. Stand with your back toward the amp for example. If that doesn't help, take your guitar to the dealer and try it on another of the same type... see if it does the same. Also where you use it, make sure nothing is rattling in the area that can fool you as to how it sounds...

Does anyone know how to make a bass knob remote out of phone line? What the color code? I have 4 different color wire here but i don't know what to do to make a bass knob remote.

It is NOT clear what you are trying to do... HOWEVER if you are attempting to extend a bass potentiometer remotely, you CANNOT use the four wire flat telephone line as it is unshielded and you will pick up hum.

probolly all you did was run a head into another amp and just caused your marshall to overheat/overpower and blew your output transistor. i you drop the chassis out and look at the chip on the heatsink is it blown? also check all internal and external fuses.

Is there a way to mod the hd100fx head for more bass?

You are ultimately limited by the available power of the internal amp. You can set controls for bass boost and turn off the treble but there is only so much power available.

HINT: If you are using speakers smaller than 15 inch, that will limit the bass as well. Use larger efficient speakers.
