This could be that your gaket may be sucking in air.check gasket dollar bill trick.put dollar half way in freezer and pull it out.if it pulls out easy your gasket isnt sealing.be sure to go all around the freezer gasket with the bill.

I have the same problem on my almost 2 yr. old Samsung RFG29ACRS French door bottom freezer fridge. The gasket leaks around the bottom pull out drawer about once a month and makes a huge mess with frost fuzz and always just on the right hand side. If I pull both the drawers open and fiddle around wiggling them off and back on the track most times it fixes it, but it is getting worse and very annoying. I called Samsung a year ago when it first started happening but they didn't seem to know of anyone else with this issue. Think it is time to call them again....anyone else with this problem or better yet a solution!? Thanks

Samsung RL38SCSW Fridge Freezer not Cooling

Sounds like an air leak around a door seal or the ice maker chute door is open causing frost buildup on evaporator and everything inside the freezer. You also may have a defrost drain line blockage

Frig wont cool fan not running freezer working

fan is not working thus u have very little cold air circulating into the fridge. check the fan with a multi meter for continuity? it may be out? When u say freezer working? is there an ice build up ? if so u may have a bad defrost terminator or defrost timer, which in turn blocks the fan from working due to ice build up?

Mod# RFG297AA:Need to remove the freezer section or handle/latch

there are two screws on each side of the bottom freezer unit you need to remove. they can be removed after de-installing the front bin with the two plastic sleeves on the right and left. Then you can remove the bottom drawer door and the bins inside. next, open both top doors and angle the fridge with one door inside the door frame, then "walk" the fridge over the doorstoop, turning towards the inside door as you push. Follow thru with the rest of the unit, then re-attach the bottom drawer.

American fridge/freezer - fridge stopped cooling, freezer side ok

Have you pulled out the refrigerator and cleaned or used a vacum cleaner to get out the dirt and dust off the back of the coils, or if the coils are underneath, you need to get an inexpensive appliance brush for fridge, and clean the coils under the fridge, pull off the panel on the front bottom of the fridge, get a flash light and look to see if the coils are covered in dust....may just need to vacum and use appliance brush underneath...this should be done at least one a year, you will notice your fridge running much better and cooling back to normal.......hope this helps......

Samsung refrigerator - frost on outside of freezer drawers

try checking the freezer door seal.
if slight gap anywhere around the door seal drawer fronts will frost up.
warm seal up with hair dryer and ease seal out with your hands..
problem often happens with door reversal.

My freezer is frosting...there is snow all over

In my case with constant snow and frost build-up in my bottom drawer GE freezer, it was because the drawer never properly closed. As one user noted, "there is no adjustment." However, there are "catches" at the rear of the drawer glides and in my case one needed adjustment because it was preventing the drawer from remaining closed tightly. SEE PHOTOS. The photos show many items removed, but to make this repair, you only need a butter knife to pop out the black plastic catch mechanisms at the back end of the drawer glides, and only if you can see that the spring is not properly positioned. Kenmore fridge not working, ice cubes wet, freezer frosting up

You may need a new defrost module. The coils ice up when it is not working. This makes the fridge and freezer only a little cold. About 150 to 250 bucks to fix if you call a service person. Under a hundred for the part.

FRIDGE FREEZER BUT FRIDGE STOPPED WORKING FREEZER WORKING OK

look on the back wall of the freezer is there snow? if so you have a defrost component out (timer, limit, or heater) the fresh food compartment gets cool air from the freezer so check for blocked air pathways the build up of frost in the freezer stops air flow so you will be cold on freezer side and warm on ref side

Kemore model 795.7731 bottom freezer

You are probably correct that it is the evap motor. If you are seeing frost on the back wall then there is probably some ice built up around the motor and the fan blade is hitting it.
Try defrosting the freezer and look very closely all around the seal for the freezer drawer. It is common for moisture to freeze in the self closers in the drawer rails and not let the drawer close completely on one side or the other. If this happens the small gap will allow the freezer to frost excessively.
Sorrry to be slow in responding. I have been very busy this week and have not been on line very much.
