How to fit blacberry 8900 replacement key pad

dead easy! you will need T4/T5 screwdriver bits to take out the screws, once you have done that prise off the black clip at the bottom of the blackberry (just below the catch for the battery cover) to reveal 2 more screws, take them out. take the rear fascia off (little clips on the side) you will see the keyboard fascia unplug everything carefully from it and replace. try youtube for a detailed video on how to do this. Its very simple! Hope this helps.

If your BlackBerry gets covered in water, act fast and rationally, and you may be able to save your device.
1. DO NOT TRY TO TURN IT ON
2. Pull out the battery.
3. Please your device and battery into a bowl of uncooked rice to absorb any moisture.
4. Please it in a warm, dry place where it can receive direct sunlight.
5. Be patient. It is recommended that you leave it in there for at least 48 hours.
6. After 48 hours, put the battery back in and power on.

My 8310 does not turn on, it simply displays a battery with a line through it. I know the battery is not the issue. I was trying to reload blackberry messenger & now the device simply wont turn back on

That symbol means your Battery is not connecting to your phone properly. There are 4 Copper colored prongs that connect to the battery terminals and then the same 4 go and connect to the Main board. Please inspect them and post if they look ok. You need to open the phone to see the inside connctions

Blackberry pearl wont go past the white screen with the hour glas

the only thing that you can do with this issue is try wiping the software clean and reinstalling fresh software. You would need the blackberry desktop manager first installed on your home computer. If you dont have the cd the program is more then likely available on your mobile providers website. Once the program is downloaded and installed follow these directions

To perform this procedure, follow the steps below:
  1. Remove the battery from the BlackBerry device.
  2. Double-click Application Loader in BlackBerry Desktop Manager while the BlackBerry device is not connected to the computer.
  3. Click Next on the Welcome to the Application Loader Wizard screen.
  4. When the Communication Port Selection screen appears, connect the BlackBerry device.
  5. When the USB-PIN option appears, click Next. The Device Application Selection screen should appear.
  6. Re-insert the battery and allow the process to complete.
