Question about VeriFone TRANZ 380 Transaction System (X2, 256K) (P03600173)
Desperately need a default system password for VX670 that I have had for 4 months and am being charged for when I am not using it as the company we got it from set it for restaurant transactions and we need financial transactions...customer services are of no help and keep saying they will get it fixed as they want to take it away to change a setting !!!!!!! I think i could manage that myself if they gave me the password !!!
Please someone help !

You will need to send the unit back to them for reprogramming. Why? Because not only will they be loading the application and the settings, they will be setting up the master key for the debit transactions. That last step has to be done in a special room at the processor. You can not load that yourself. Depending on the processor, each terminal may be loaded with a different master key.
