Re-seat the card, or use Troubleshooting mode / compatibility mode by right clicking on setup. You may even have to roll back the OS if you changed it, or get an new compatible card.

I have installed windows 7 and now have lost sound card for use with skype

You probably need to install a Windows 7 compatible audio driver for your sound card. Check your PC manufacturer's website or use a driver finder program to locate and install the right sound driver.

This product doesn't work with the Windows Vista version. They're is a ddriver problem . No version of the drivers for vista turn on my pc!!

In windows you can find the program you want to run and then tell windows to emulate a previous version. If you are working within VISTA then you right click the actual program ICON (NOt a shortcut on desktop) and choose properties you wll see a tab called COMPATIBILITY. In the top you will RUN THIS PROGRAM IN COMPATIBILITY MODE FOR ######## here you can choose a previous version of Windows such as XP or earlier to use. Try having the program run in compatibility mode to determine if it can find the Sound Card. Its possible a driver update or other Windows update in VISTA is incompatible with the device.

I can't found driver for terratec dmx6live 24/96

Might be possible, but it is hard to say which one without trying. You should check the details of the device in the device manager. It will list a range of "compatible ids" for the device, which can be used to look for alternate or compatible drivers. No guarantee that all functions will work though.
You can also try a driver find program. Those work in the same way, they use the device id and compatible ids to find the most suited, most recent driver for your devices.

This is a link to E-Mu for info for the 1212M sound card. Unfortunately Win 7 is not listed. Does Win 7 offer running a program/drivers in compatibility mode? Just a thought.

In the compatability tab click "Run this program in compatability mode for:" and choose the "Windows 95" option. This method works most of the time for me. Give it a try.

No sound from system with Ensoniq AudioPCI running XUBUNTU 9.04

There is but one cure for this problem I am afraid and that is install compatible drivers for Ubuntu and your sound card ,windows and Ubuntu are two diffrent languages completely ..
Most manufacturers realise that Linux/ubuntu is popular medie now and do have downloadable drivers on their site , however if you cant find rthem dont despair there are many quick savy programers who use ubuntu and they write their own programs to solve such problems . many of these you will find on the linux site or click on add on's in your menu to go to the ubuntu site for recent updates and downloads the cure to the problem is and only is compatible program drivers .. or a new card with same available ... Compatibility with Windows Vista

Sounds like you have a driver issue. Here is a link of all the sound cards that are supported by Vista: I don't see your card in there, yet. Check with the manufacturer for updated drivers.
