How old is the machine? Sounds like it might be time for a new drive. Try this download Speedfan and click on the SMART tab and have it run a full diagnostic test. The part i am concerned with is the drive spinup. Sounds like the motor might be going out. Or you just have a loose connection in the machine somewhere.

It's probably overheating. Raising the one side is giving it more ventilation. Try blow some canned air through the fan openings and clear the dust out. Also try to see if you can tell if the fan is running. You may have a bad internal fan

How to make the freezer door on a kenmore elite 74033 tilt

Refrig of the year: Kenmore Elite 74033 Refrigerator
Consumer Reports Rated: Excellent

Hello Charles,

Just when I'm thinking Sears SERVICE is NOT some sort
of sad/bad joke... you put in a Kenmore Elite Model number...

continued search found your Owners Manual... Pages 10 & 16 are what you want

The front should be slightly higher than the rear to aid in door closing... (page 10)

Your refrigerator has two front leveling legs-one on the right and one on the left. Adjust the legs to alter the tilt from front-to-back or side-to-side. If your refrigerator seems unsteady, or you want the doors to close more easily, adjust the refrigerator's tilt using the instructions below: NOTE: Tools Required: 11/16" wrench or flat blade screwdriver.
1. Turn the leveling leg to the left to raise that side of the refrigerator or to the right to lower it. It may take several turns of the leveling leg to adjust the tilt of the refrigerator.
NOTE: Having someone push backward against the top of the refrigerator takes some weight off of the leveling legs. This makes it easier to adjust the legs.
2. Open both doors again and check to make sure that they close easily. If the doors do not close easily, tilt the refrigerator slightly more to the rear by turning both leveling legs to the left. It may take several more turns, and you should turn both leveling legs the same amount... (page 16)

`` After that...

All you have to do to maximize that efficiency is keep the closure area free of pizza boxes, ice cubes or errant frozen food bags.

Hope this was helpful...

How do I adjust the height of frigidaire side by side model # FRS23R4CW5

On the cabinet bottom front right near the bottom door hinges you should see the adjusting screw for the front wheels. On most refrigerators only the front can be raised or lowered. Back wheels are usually stationary. Also you don't want the refrigerator level. It should have some tilt or slope front to back (front higher than back). This tilt helps the doors to self close from a 45 degree angle.

Cant set it

    Setting the Time
  1. G-Shock watches feature a digital display that is set using the function buttons on the outside of the watch face. To set the time, press and hold the the upper left button until the seconds unit blinks on the display. Reset the seconds to "00" by pressing the lower right button.

Push the lower left button to switch to the hours unit, which will start blinking. Advance the hour by pressing the lower right button. If you hold down the lower right button, it will advance the hour unit at a higher rate of speed. Once the hour is set, press the lower left button to switch to the minutes unit. As with the hours unit, pressing the lower right button will advance the minutes and holding it down will advance the minutes rapidly.

Once the time is set, press the upper left button to save the setting.
  2. Backlight
  3. The backlight on a G-Shock watch has a manual control and an automatic function that will light the face of the watch whenever the alarm, countdown alarm or hourly alarm ring. To use the manual backlight, press the button on the bottom of timepiece. The light will glow for approximately 2 seconds before going out.

The automatic function is set by pressing and holding the lower right button. When the automatic function is set, an indicator icon will display on the watch face above the seconds unit. You can turn off the automatic backlight function by pressing and holding the lower right button until the icon disappears.

Note that backlight causes a drain on the battery, and overuse of the backlight will greatly reduce battery life.
  4. Setting the Alarm
  5. The G-Shock has an alarm that emits an audible tone for approximately 20 seconds when it turns on. To set the alarm, press the lower left button until "AL" displays in the upper left corner of the timepiece. Press and hold the upper left button until the hours unit starts to blink. Adjust the hour by pressing the lower right button. As when setting the time, you can advance the hour at a higher rate of speed by holding down the lower right button.

Once the hour unit is set, press the lower left button to advance to the minutes. Use the lower right button to set the minutes. Follow these same instructions to set the month and day you want the alarm set.

When the alarm time and date are entered, press the upper left button to save the setting. Push the lower left button three times to return the G-Shock to "Timekeeping" mode.

My side by side fridge door does not close by itself when released

It is likely that your fridge is tilted left or right, and possibly forward at the same time. Most refrigerator doors will self-close if the fridge is slightly tilted both back and to the handle. The fridge is raised or lowered by adjusting the front feet or rollers.

The problem you'll encounter with a side-by-side fridge is that if you adjust for the right-hand door to self-close, there's a good chance that the left-hand door will want to stay or fully open; if you don't check it while making the adjustments. It can take a little extra time to make sure the adjustments make the front both perfectly level left to right, AND slightly higher in the front than the back.

Please rate this reply if you found it helpful - good luck!

How do you open te Vivtar V4000?

I have used left/right as if you are holding the camera ready to take pictures.
I have included the instructions to rewind the finished film.

!/ Press and hold the film rewind button button on the right side of the camera base.
2/ Fold out the rewind crank top left of camera and turn it in the direction of the arrow.
3/ Once the pressure eases, the film is completely wound into the cassette.
4/ Lift up the film rewind knob top left of camera and pull it out to open the back cover. Now the film cassette can be taken out.
5/ Do this in a place away from direct sunlight.

DeLonghi PAC A120E Pinguino 12,000-BTU Portable Air Conditioner - Water Leakage Problem

I had the same problem and found a fairly simple solution. UNPLUG THE UNIT FIRST. All left and right reference below is as view from the BACK of the unit (NOT from the front). Open the right side panel (right as view from the back), by removing six screws (remove screw covers first) and pull down on the panel to remove. Towards the UPPER-back of the unit, there is a cold air evaporator(?)(bunch of tubes and fins) you can only see the edge of it after removing the right panel. Below it is a white plastic drip tray with a hole at the end allowing water to pass down to the lower warm air radiator(?) (another bunch of tubes and fins) to evaporate. If this hole is obstructed, water will over flow and leak. I cleaned out the hole with a vacuum attached to a drinking straw, you might have a better way. After cleaning, I poured a little water through to make sure it drains. There is a lower drip tray at the bottom of the unit which catches the water and you can drain it out the bottom drain hole by unplugging the rubber stopper at the back bottom of the unit. The lower drip tray has a float switch (you can only see it by removing the back panel, which you don't have to do for this procedure) which turns off the unit when the lower tray is full. So, theoretically, even if the evaporation is not working properly, as long as the upper drain hole is not obstructed, there should not be any leakage, because the water will drain into the lower drip tray and turn the unit off when it is full. The upper drain hole obstruction might be causing most of the leakage problem. Also make sure the unit is level left to right. If the left side (left as viewed from the back) is lower than the right side (as view from the back) the water in the upper drip tray might not flow to the drain hole properly and might overflow. You should also vacuum and clean the upper plastis filter screen (pull it out from the top back of the unit). Before closing the right side panel, you might want to vacuum and clean the lower warm air radiator, be careful not to damage the fins. Again before you start any of this, UNPLUG THE UNIT FIRST. This might be easier than packing and sending the over 90 pounds unit to an out of town service center. I understand some service centers might charge $100 for a simple cleaning. Consult a trained technician if you don't have the skill to do this. Do this procedure at your own risk because I am not sure if it might void you warranty. Again UNPLUG THE UNIT FIRST before you start.

Black vertical line 3inches in from the left on my fujitsu PDS4233W-H plasma screen

If the line is all the way from top to bottom, it could be your upper and lower buffer boards or your plasma display unit is bad. I suggest you contact a servicer for your brand.
