Question about E-Machines EMA IMPERIAL GV (845GV) TG3 eMachines (145119) Motherboard
Could you tell me which brand motherboard would run this computer under $200. I know that it can be fix with another board but if it going to cost over $200 I will just go ahead and sell for parts. Can anyone out there help or would it be better to just buy another Emachine and use the hard drive as back up. Maria
You will get away with just about any "Micro ATX" motherboard that supports IDE/ATA connections.
It's your choice whether you choose AMD or Intel, although your system was Intel before.
A new motherboard, processor and memory together will cost well over $200, if you bought a new desktop you certainly can use the other hard drive with it.
The decision remains yours still however.
Good luck and thanks for using FixYa!!
