This is the reason I am careful about walking people into the tech menu on sets--one wrong move and poof!
If you by a miracle find the full service manual it would have the information needed (if set has this) for a hard reset---other wise you would have to try to with the manual reset every setting to factory one at a time...........
You Have to Know How To Enter sevice Mode and if you do not know what you are doing you can really mess TV up BADLY Its a Page Long with alot to do before you can even get into service Mode and if you change the wrong values you can shut set down and reallly have a nightmare on your Hands I hate these TVs panasonic did not keep things simple when it came to setting convergence on these sets.you really do need service Manual for this TV.
To access the Zenith service menu: Hold down the menu button on the remote control until the menu disappears. Then type in 9-8-7-6-enter. This should do the trick. Be careful what setting you change. I would recommend writing them down before you change any. Hope this helps.
Your daughter accidently changed the language mode from English to either French or Spanish. If you push the menu button
on your remote repeatly until you see a word that resembles
"language" then highlight it and push adjust (either right or left)
you may be able to set it back to English. Some sets have a
feature that resets the adjustments back to the original settings
if the TV is unplugged from the electrical outlet for a minimum of
15 minutes then plugged back in.
Hope this helps,
DId the technicians try to reset the HDMI.
The HDMI module will need to be reset after service. Enter the service

Remote. Allow the unit to complete its Cool Down cycle, then unplug the AC
Power. Reconnect the AC Power and power on unit. Confirm HDMI input

the self check mode.

The first thing to do is to read the user manual. Check to see that the colour control is turned up. There may be a menu control reset that can be activated to zero all the controls to their factory default.
The set may have a multi standard capability, and it is in the wrong standard mode. If an NTSC set is in the PAL mode, or visa-versa, it will not show colour.
Call for warranty service if you cannot resolve the no colour issue.
Many a good set have been destroyed by stumbling around in the service menu. One wrong thing and boom no more Tv. But we'll try to help you here, turn the set off. hold both the volume down and chanel down on the front of the set. hold them both in till the set turns on Then from this menu go to geomatry and you should be able to adjust from there , and for Gods sakes write down the values before you change them so you have a refrance point should things go terribly wrong
Hi, I have a similar problem too on the SP47Q7HF. That one the lower level to match the red, and blue.
Turn off the tv, and then restart, and still the colour runs off.
Do you have a manual on the service mode adjustment? Or where to upload this info? I would like to try and adjust it.
you have a convergence problem and this can only be serviced by a tech with the know how to service the rca projections sets as there are many alignments in this set and some are manual driven but mosrt are on screen driven. You need the know how to get into the service mode. Sorry my friend but my recomendations would be to send this set out for service.
