I have a nextar mp3 player that the computer can not erase some files on. It says it can not read file from source. I try to erase manually but it will not do it. It causes my downloaded music to skip from song to song.

Plug the MP3 player into the computer with a USB cable.
The MP3 player should then be automatically detected by your computer and show up as a device (external drive or folder) on your computer.
You must then open this external file (MP3 player) by either double clicking or right clicking with your mouse. Then drag the MP3 file or files from your computer to the MP3 player.
you can download the driver @ nextar.com for Nextar MA933A. However it seems you only need the driver for it if you are using windows 98 or windows 200 prior to SP3. At the link above you can also download the manual, and read the FAQ section.
..well push reset button, it's either on the back or in at the bottom... if it has back-up installation set-up then u can use that but if it doesn't well u have to find those songs and then transfer them in the mp3 one by one again...
download the disc that came with it no matter what windows/mac/lenux version you have.
drag it all out to your desktop.
look through the folders for a program with a rocket ship icon.
plug your mp3 player into the computer.
select "firmware upgrade" on the computer.
select the newest upgrade.
then click "upgrade firmware" and it'll be fixed for the system error, but you'll have to re-download the music.
