All my users complain about low handset volume and when they change it using the volume bar while on a call, the next call goes back to default.

This will have to be done on a T7316/M7324 or a phone with more than 8 programmable buttons.

First press Feature ** 266344 you will see Password: Enter 266344 again. If you have a newer release Norstar you will see "Terminals&Sets" and you will have 3 arrows lit up on the display to the right. Whne you get further into programming you will see 4 arrows lit up. Here is what each button next to the arrow does

top left (HEADER) takes you back to the header of the catagory

bottom left(BACK) takes you back a steptop right

top right(SHOW) lets you enter the catagory showing n the display

bottom right(NEXT) lets you move forward a step

after logging into programming and you see terminals&sets press the lower right(NEXT) until you see "System prgrming"

Press the upper right(SHOW) and you will see "Change DNs"

press lower right(NEXT) until you see "Featr settings"

press the upper right(SHOW) and you will see "Backgrnd Music:"

press the lower right(NEXT) until you see "Receiver volume.."

press the upper right(SHOW) You will now have an option to "Change" When you press change you will see the display change from "use sys volume" to "use set volume"

Once this is set for set volume the volume on the set should stay the same after you are off a call. The system by default has system volume set so the receiver volume will always go back to default settings

    Make sense?

There is an option in programming under feature setting for reciever volume to "use system volume or use set volume" You will need to change this to "use set volume" Do you know how to enter system programming?

We have a meridian M7310 telephone system, and have just bought some headsets. Unfortunately we wish to use both headset, handset or speaker phone. Is this possible? Because at the moment we can only...

First of all, make sure you're plugged into the headset port of the telephone and not the handset port. Pressing the Handsfree button should change from handset to headset. You can't use the speaker phone with the headset plugged in.

M7310 phone not ringing audibally

If the internal calls dont ring, then there is something with the extension. When a call is ringing the phone, press the UP VOLUME. Chances are that someone accidentally turned the ringer all the way down.

Let me know if that doesnt work.
