Want to setup new passkey

Do not remember original passkey looking to change passkey i am using I-Mat K-Jam and i need to use wirless headset Nokia HS-4W with it but i don't no the passkey for it could you help me with this

I think passkey could be the same your password set for securing smartphone.

the default wifi passkey is usually printed on the label stuck to the router. you can login to the router using admin admin with a lan cable connected pc start a browser and enter 192.168.1.1 into a browser to get the menu up. you can then alter the wifi passkey value to whatever value you prefer. ALL Wifi signals have a PassKey by default so you must have entered it at some stage to the working devices.

Hello thee you must first make sure your blue tooth device is in pairing mode,to do this it usually means when you turn it on you hold the power button on for 6 to 10 seconds and it puts the device into pairing mode once they have paired you will need a pairing or pin code most manufactures use a 4 digit code they are as follows 0000,1234,1111,9999 i hope this helps if not refur to your manufactures procedure

I can't reset the passkey and I don't remember what it was. Is there any way to get another passkey to work.

Well the default pass key for most of the headset's is 0000 so you can try this .........
note: There is no way to change the passkey.....

Well, unless you personally changed it yourself, the defaults are 0000, 2468, or 1234. Google all the default keys for a bigger list.

If you're talking about trying to pair the device to your phone, the default passkey or most mobile bluetooth devices is "0000".

Pairing headset


If you have a motorola the pass key is 0000 unless you changed the pass key because then nobody will know it except you. Hope this helped =)
