Typing emails and sporadic jump back or forward to where cursor was last.

Hi!
I think, when you are typing, you accidentaly touch touchpad, so it;s like mouse click, and cursor will be active where is mouse, To avoid this:
  • Pay attention to yoru fingers
  • When you are typing long text, turn of your tuchpad (FN + FX , FX = button F1-F12 look for mouse or touchpad icon)
Hope it helps

I am unable to copy and paste because my right click button doedn't work

I'm assuming that the touchpad right click button is the one you are talking about. It will have to be replaced. In the mean time, use an external mouse to control the cursor and click buttons.
As far as replacement of the mousepad unit, I will need to know the make and model of your laptop to recommend the correct replacement parts. If you are not willing to do the repair/replace yourself, you will have to take the laptop to a repair shop.
Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks.

I need a sound driver for my asus A6R series entertainment nootbook... Model:A6R mb ver: A6RP i do not know much that all information i got from the notebook..thank you..

Sound driver and Audio driver is one and the same thing. I do not know that which Operating system you are using (like Windows xp, Windows Vista and Windows 7). To check this out go to "Computer" or "My Computer" and right click it and then point the mouse pointer to "Properties". A new windows will open and you will be shown the version of Windows (either XP, Vista or Windows 7).

For windows XP download from the following link by copy pasting it in your internet browser

http://www.driverstock.com/ASUS-A6R-driver-download/6-21-10801/index.html

For Windows 7/Windows Vista 6.305 download the

"Realtek AC'97 Drivers for Windows 7/Vista 6.305"
from the following link

http://www.downloads2k.com/Realtek-AC-97-Drivers-for-Vista.html

For older version of Windows Vista 2.50 use the following link

Good luck and take care!

How do I disable touch pad when using a mouse? ASUS K50IJ Win7 64 bit

To turn off the touchpad when an external mouse or other pointing device is present, you can goto the Control Panel and double click the Mouse properties icon.

Click the Device Select tab and check "Disable Touch Pad when USB Pointing Device is present." The cursor will no longer move via the touchpad.

Alternatively, you can permanently disable the touchpad of your laptop by clicking the "Disable Device" in the Touch Pad setting. Advanced users can disable the touchpad from the BIOS setup [press F2 when the computer is booting to enter BIOS settings]

Unfortunately, there are no keyboard shortcuts to enable/disable Touchpad movement or tapping. You can however drag the Mouse icon from the control panel to your Quick launch bar for quick access.

If that sounds too much effort, you may consider adjusting the sensitivity of the touchpad. This can be accessed from the Touch Pad tab of our mouse properties. Choose a low setting.

When using the touchpad the cursor always double clicks

For that go to start menu->control panel->folder optitions.
Then you can see first general tab settings.
Make sure in "clci kitems as follows" the option button for "double click to open item " is enable.
Then apply and ok.
If still face same issue then uninstall touchpad driver and reinstall driver again then it works fine.
Let me know if you need further assistance.

The left click button on my samsung r510 is not working, can you help me please?

Use "tapping" to do the left click if the button isn't working. You can click, double click and drag things around using just the touch panel.
Position the cursor on the icon you want to select and do a quick "tap" on the touch panel, the icon will become selected, equivalent to one click. To double click, double tap. To drag things around, do a tap and quickly tap again without lifting your finger and move.
It takes a little practice but you'll get used to it. Also the touchpad software has some settings that will let to configure the sensitivity and time between taps among other things to adjust the movement to your preferences.

Touchpad has no tap, left key not working.

Hi there,
I had this issue and resolved it by doing the following:
-Open the start menu by using the windows button
-Use the arrow keys to highlight run and press enter
-Type 'control panel' and press enter, find the mouse properties and enter
-From the buttons tab in mouse properties, go to double click speed and change to slow and confirm the changes
-At this point it probably still wont work, so do the above again but change the double click settings to fast and confirm.
-Restart your PC and this should resolve the matter. you can alter the double click speed again if you wish :)

Hope this helps,
tbo
