The printer is fine (Prints the demo) but when I try to print from my computer, it says "Printing..." then it says "Error - Failed" What's going on?
To start do the following:
Unplug printer USB, unplug power from pc and also remove the battery if it is a laptop, and restart printer and PC.
With printer still unplugged go to control panel>>printers and empty the printer cue.
Test a replacement USB cable and try plugging the printer on a different USB port.
If the above did not work , then reinstall the printer software using the printer CD. Unplug the printer and start software installation with printer USB unplugged.
If you do not have the disk you must download the software from Internet, follow instructions below,

This problem can be created several ways if you are hooked to it by ethernet change to another port to see if this is a logic board problem. the other thing that causes a variety of failures is the nvram on the engine board. if you have electrical storms where you live a surge protector is always a good idea. if you have these storms they will corrupt the nvram chips 9 times out of 10 it will be the engine board. i did extensive testing ofr the company i work for a couple of years ago on the engine board there are 2 problem chip an eprom and the nvram seldom a problem with the logic
